Keswick Camping and Camping Pods, Caravans for hire, Touring Caravans and Motorhomes.

The campground is sheltered and has both sloping and level areas. Views are available from some areas of the field but not all. Cars may be parked close to the tent. No electric hook-up points are available for camping. Dogs are accepted if kept on a lead. Sorry no dangerous breeds.

Campers Kitchen
The “Campers Kitchen” provides guests an indoor heated amenity in which to prepare meals. Equipped with twin hobs, microwave, (both 50p tokens) and free use of toasters and kettle. Seating, washing up basins and a small sun terrace are also provided.

Camping Pods
Be different – What is a camping pod?
Well, its a small timber hut with a wraparound roof, all very well insulated with sheep’s wool in the walls, and with a special foil layer under the tiles to help keep summer temperatures in check. There is good head height and plenty of light from the double-glazed lockable french doors which, together with a small high rear window, provide a good through draft. Also provided is an electric socket and lighting. All in all, it’s a brilliant substitute for a tent!

Our Castle Pods sleep a maximum of two adults and two children, dogs are not permitted. They feature a double bed and a bunk-bed with mattresses but linen, blankets/duvets must be provided by the guest. There is a heater, two twin electric sockets with USB charging ports, lights, picnic bench and decking area.

Just like camping, but without the tent!
You can have all the best bits of camping – experiencing the closeness to nature and the sense of adventure – but without the disadvantages. You can enjoy the great outdoors without the threat of being savaged by it ! Just bring all your camping equipment… but not your tent!

We have a restaurant / tearoom on site - "Food at Jiggers" and also a gallery with a small range of local crafts and landscape photography.
