Luxury Lake District Yurts – Holidays with a breath of fresh air
** ALSO SEE OUR LUXURY YURTS AT GREAT LANGDALE **
Situated within the National Trust Campsite at Low Wray on Windermere we offer six 18ft Yurts (March-November). We offer six Yurts at the Low Wray site. Three 18ft Yurts on the beautiful Ransomes on the shores of Windermere accommodating up to six persons each. So for those with an adventurous spirit a swift pre-breakfast dip in Windermere is a great way to start the day. We also have a further three 18ft Yurts on the more secluded Whitworths Meadow also accommodating up to 6 persons each.
Furnished with a distinctly Moroccan feel with thick woolen rugs, bright colourful throws, twinkling fairy lights, solar lighting and large skylight lanterns, our Yurts are cosy, comfortable and definitely different, guaranteed to make you feel completely relaxed and away from it all.
Sit back, take a deep breath and relax. Feel the warmth of the wood burning stove, look up and let your eye be drawn up the roof poles, past the Moroccan lantern and through the large skylight where you will see the stars twinkling in the night sky………endless possibilities await on the holiday that lies ahead you.
Long Valley Yurts at Low Wray have six 18ft diameter Yurts located at the National Trust campsite at Low Wray right on the shores of Windermere, England’s largest lake.
What is a Yurt
