Fell Foot Wood Overlooking Lake Windermere

OS Grid Reference: NY382867

Part of the woodland management involves the provision of quiet "back to nature" camping for people who prefer that option rather than a more conventional family campsite with full facilities.

You can hire a tipi-tent that will sleep 4+ people with a rustic cooking and eating shelter alongside. Alternatively, you can hire a Bell Tent in its own secluded area.

You can watch the sun set across the Lake amongst the wild woodland sounds of nature or you can experience other wild soundscapes at our amazing camping based music events that are a totally unique experience when compared to mainstream music festivals.

Campers with their own tents must book and arrive before the woodyard at the entrance closes at 4.30pm.
