By car: take the A590 to Newby Bridge. Go straight over roundabout. Take first exit, continuing along the A590 for a further 100m. Turn right over the River Leven and follow for 3 miles. There is a sign for Long Valley Yurts on the right.

A spectacular location on the quiet western shores of Windermere, with stunning views across the lake towards Ambleside and the fells beyond.

Our yurts have stunning lake views and are a short distance away from a restorative early morning dip. An ideal launch spot for a sunset paddle board adventure.

Offering a quite retreat for families, friends and couples alike, Lakeside is a beautiful site with stunning views in every direction.

Long Valley Yurts at Lakeside offer 5 luxury 18ft yurts for up to 6 people (March to November).

Furnished with a distinctly Moroccan feel with thick woollen rugs, bright colourful throws, twinkling fairy lights, solar lighting and large skylight lanterns. Our yurts are cosy, comfortable and definitely different.

Each yurt has it's own uniquely Moroccan feel. You can also expect the following facilities;

Drinking water is available from a tap within a short walk. Each yurt comes fully equipped with its own water carrier. Male and female shower blocks and toilet facilities also only a short walk.
