Take junction 41 of M6 motorway, follow the A66 towards Keswick for 7 miles. At the Sportsman's Pub (on the right), turn right and follow signs for Hutton Roof. We are 4 miles along this road, bearing right at the crossroads. We are 0.25 miles from here on the left, beside Scales Farm.
Scales is a quiet, peaceful "Caravan Club Certified Location", on the edge of the Lake District National Park.
The site has stunning views of Blencathra and the Northern Fells of Cumbria.
We are situated nr Hutton Roof between Caldbeck and Mungrisdale.
With Keswick, Ullswater, Penrith, and Carlisle just a short drive away, its the perfect location for exploring the Lake District and Eden Valley.
Superb access to the Northern Fells with walks to suit all abilities.
There are plenty of cycle routes to choose from in the area including the "Coast to Coast" (C2C) and "Reivers Route".
Watersports available on Ullswater and Derwentwater.
